Awesome Tutor!
Jen is the best tutor that I have ever known. She truly wants you to do well and succeed. It’s not just a job for her. She lives and breaths math. She is good at all of it. I have tutored with her for years— Geometry, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Physics. We even did Chemistry (we both hated it so much, but she was still able to teach me and make it bearable). She’s so amazing at all of it! When I don’t understand something she explains it in a different way. If I still don’t understand it, she tries a different way, and on and on until I understand. She is so patient and she never makes me feel dumb or stupid for asking questions or if I don’t get it the first time. She isn’t boring or dull during our session. When I first met her, I was a shy kid who wouldn’t even look at her during our first session. Over the years, I have become more open and we laugh and joke all throughout our sessions now. Even though I’m doing math, it’s fun because I’m doing math with her. She helped my math skills grow more than I ever believed possible, and I don’t hate math anymore, which is something I never thought I would say. She’s literally THE best tutor in the world!

I loved tutoring with Jennifer! In just a few lessons, I was able to raise my grade by a whole letter! She made the concepts easy to understand and made math fun for me. She is very patient and offered understandable explanations to anything I found confusing. I loved how kind and personable she is and I'm very grateful that I got to have her as my tutor.

My daughter has only had one lesson so far with Jennifer and it has already been an uplifting experience! She feels much more confident about AP calculus which has been a struggle for her this year and I’m hoping that she can succeed moving forward and actually like math again. Jennifer spent some time after the lesson to ask her about her goals in college which I thought was really helpful. She really tried to find out who my daughter was as a person to help better understand her needs. My daughter was beaming after the lesson and said “I love her! She’s so smart and really cool” That alone was worth it for me. I look forward to future lessons and continuing to build my daughter’s confidence. It would be great if she even considered a STEM field after graduation which she had ruled out because she’s felt defeated in this class.

Jennifer is not only knowledgeable in the subject but also a great teacher. She possesses the patience and experience to communicate the concepts in an understandable way for a teenager.
