The Absolute Best!

I have had frequent lessons with Gabriela since I started Ochem A and continued working with her through Ochem B. I never really understood science classes in the way I was supposed to and it was always a struggle for me to apply my knowledge and understand the basis of why I am doing what I am doing. Gabriela helped me do that. I cannot thank her enough. I went into Ochem with so much fear and no knowledge of organic chemistry, and I've come out of Ochem B with an even better score than I was expecting and so much knowledge and appreciation for the course. It's now my favorite science course I have ever taken thanks to her!! She doesn't just help you solve problems, she teaches you the foundation of what all the terms and structures mean. She makes sure you know what you are doing before you do it, and helps you along the way by being really patient, understanding, and so kind. I cannot recommend her enough.

Gabriela is just amazing as an organic chemistry tutor! This semester I had to retake it since I dropped it the first time and I was anxious that whether I would be miserable getting below 50% on the exams. But thanks to her effective teaching on the materials, I am beyond surviving in organic chemistry 1. Without her, I wouldn’t be able to pass the exams. Organic chemistry is an evil course but she definitely makes it better and bearable. Thank you so much for everything! And yes I 100% recommend taking her for orgo 1!

Can't say enough about this amazing tutor

This is was my first time needing a tutor and Gabby set the bar very high. I feel so lucky I found a tutor like her that helped me grasp the concepts and pass a challenging class like Orgo. I can remember feeling so overwhelmed and lost during the first few weeks of the class and then the relief I got from starting tutoring with her. Gabby does an incredible job of explaining the concepts and helping you understand how to work them. Because of the work we did together I was able to juggle my entire course work much better and study Orgo more effectively. I can't recommend her enough to anyone feeling lost with this material. It will totally change the trajectory of your course. I had dropped this class before but needed to pass to complete my pre reqs and this time I passed with an A thanks to Gabby. It’s one thing to be great at orgo, but it’s another to be great at *teaching* / *helping others understand* orgo. She was veryyyyyyy smart and exceptionally patient, and did a great job explaining things. I’ve been through many orgo tutors (a lot of them being professors) but they’ve never done as good of a job as she did.
